Hey folks, the spring meat chicken run is shipping the week of April 7th! This year's spring run is named "Admiral Akbar" after the same character of Star Wars fame.

At this point, the expected date for pickup will be Saturday, June 7th between 3-5pm at the farm, so mark your calendars! I'll put out reminders as the day draws closer.

To those interested, Florentine (one of our long-time hens) will stand as the Honorary Witness Chicken for this run. I'm sure everyone is quite pleased with this year's selection.

If anyone would like to help on processing day, please let Jeff or Andrea know. We start early and usually get done in about 2 hours, and we put on a great lunch afterward.

While we're raising your chickens, I'll be working on setting up a few more things on the website to make tracking things a bit easier for everyone. Visit the site when you can and I'll put important announcements front and center so you won't miss them.
